Andrea and Alejandro held their religious ceremony in the outskirts of the renowned town of San Miguel Allende, at Valle de los Senderos. The valley had an impressive picturesque landscape view, with green hills and lovely ponds which made a great aesthetic statement in the couple’s portraits. The wholesome landscape was complemented by desert-like cacti which added diverse shots to the entire shoot.
Before arriving at the venue where the ceremony would be held, I enjoyed a long car ride with the bride and groom which allowed me to get beautiful and intimate shots of them in a classic old Jaguar automobile. The bride held a colorful and lush bouquet with popping pinks creating a lovely smoothing contrast to the cacti vegetation.
By the end of the ceremony clouds had gathered and it began to pour. It is always a good idea to keep aesthetic umbrellas close by in case of an emergency. I got to shoot the couple’s exit after their elopement, with them carrying umbrellas over each other, happy, laughing, and having the time of their lives.
