I took María Fernanda and Gabriel’s wedding portraits at Guadalajara’s Central Park, a new luxury-living residence building in the heart of the city in which the dark green garden areas are contrasted by the Mexican-style cantera heightened by modern glass. The city of Guadalajara has countless gardens perfect for any wedding session that will teleport you out of the chaos of the city.

María Fernanda and Gabriel then moved to Gabriel’s grandmother’s house, an enormous, traditional Mexican hacienda with all types of landscapes. We had uninterrupted cream walls for a cleaner photograph, and then we had stone columns and stairs for a more classic look. Haciendas are typically lined with red-tile floors which add a pop of color to the photographs. Never underestimate the flattering aesthetics of stone walls with deep dark greens contrasted with the bride’s white dress and groom’s black tuxedo. In this shoot, María Fernanda’s beautiful all white bouquet made an admirable statement.
